Cook for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even browning.
Remove the chicken from the air fryer and place it back into a clean bowl. Add the barbecue sauce and toss until every piece is well coated.
Return the sauced chicken to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 2 to 4 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and caramelized and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serve immediately, optionally garnished with chopped parsley or green onions.
