  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture for better searing.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken tenders with olive oil until evenly coated.
  • Combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and oregano in a small container.
  • Apply the spice rub to the chicken, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly seasoned.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for approximately 3 minutes.
  • Place the chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring no overlapping.
  • Cook for 6 minutes, then flip each tender using tongs.
  • Cook for an additional 4-6 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
