Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, tips removed and split
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 cup hone y
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Pat chicken wings thoroughly dry with paper towels to ensure maximum crispiness.
  • In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius).
  • Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the wings using tongs.
  • Continue cooking for another 8 to 10 minutes until the skin is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • While wings cook, combine honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over medium heat; simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Transfer the hot wings to a clean bowl, pour the honey lemon glaze over them, and toss until well-coated.
  • Serve immediately while hot.
