Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe pears (such as Bosc or Anjou), halved and cored
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Wash and dry the pears, then cut them in half lengthwise and remove the center core using a small spoon.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  • Brush the prepared mixture generously over the cut side of each pear half.
  • Place the pears into the air fryer basket with the cut side facing upward in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes until the pears are tender and the tops have caramelized.
  • Remove from the air fryer and garnish with chopped nuts before serving.
