Wash and dry the pears, then cut them in half lengthwise and remove the center core using a small spoon.

Brush the prepared mixture generously over the cut side of each pear half.
Place the pears into the air fryer basket with the cut side facing upward in a single layer.
Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes until the pears are tender and the tops have caramelized.
Remove from the air fryer and garnish with chopped nuts before serving.
