Air Fryer Quesadillas

Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 0.5 cup cooked shredded chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  • Lay one tortilla flat and spread half the cheese and all the shredded chicken across the surface, leaving a 0.5-inch margin at the edge.
  • Top with the remaining cheese and the second tortilla.
  • Brush the top tortilla lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with chili powder.
  • Place the quesadilla in the air fryer basket, using a metal rack or wooden toothpick to secure the top tortilla against the air flow.
  • Cook for 4 minutes, then carefully flip the quesadilla using a spatula.
  • Cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  • Remove from the air fryer and allow to rest for 60 seconds before slicing into four wedges.
