Banana Pudding Rice Krispies Treats

Ingredients

  • 6 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana cream pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup freeze -dried banana slices, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  • In a large pot, melt butter over low heat.
  • Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the dry instant banana pudding mix and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Immediately fold in the rice cereal, crushed vanilla wafers, and crushed freeze-dried bananas until evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared pan using a greased spatula.
  • Allow to cool and set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
