Chicken Parmesan Sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 slider roll s
  • 12 pre -cooked breaded chicken nuggets or small tenders
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the block of slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Place one cooked chicken nugget on each roll bottom.
  • Spoon approximately one tablespoon of marinara sauce over each chicken piece.
  • Distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce and chicken.
  • Place the top half of the rolls back onto the sliders.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, and dried oregano.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the roll tops are golden brown.
