Ingredients

  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sliced toasted almonds
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Place the cottage cheese into a small mixing bowl or, for a smoother texture, a food processor.
  • If using a food processor, pulse for 30 seconds until the cheese is whipped and aerated.
  • Fold the vanilla extract into the cottage cheese until fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the cottage cheese mixture to a serving bowl and level the surface with a spoon.
  • Scatter the fresh blueberries evenly over the top of the cheese.
  • Drizzle the honey or maple syrup over the berries and cheese.
  • Garnish with the toasted almond slices and a light dusting of ground cinnamon.
  • Serve immediately while chilled.
