Ingredients

  • 5 cans (14.5 oz each) whole green beans, drained
  • 12 slices bacon , cooked and crumbled
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread the drained green beans evenly into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Distribute the crumbled bacon over the top of the green beans.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Pour the liquid mixture evenly over the green beans and bacon.
  • Bake uncovered for 40 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and glaze the beans.
  • Toss the beans gently before serving to redistribute the glaze and bacon.
