Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails

Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (6 to 8 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprik a
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Butterfly the lobster tails by cutting through the center of the top shell with kitchen shears down to the tail.
  • Lift the meat through the shell opening and rest it on top of the shell.
  • Preheat the oven broiler to high setting.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for 60 seconds until fragrant.
  • Whisk in the heavy cream and lemon juice, simmering for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Season the lobster meat with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Brush the lobster meat generously with half of the prepared garlic butter sauce.
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8 to 10 minutes until the meat is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove from the oven, drizzle with the remaining sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
