Ingredients

  • 1 lb skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hone y
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 clove garlic , minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarc h
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy texture.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, cornstarch, and pepper.
  • Toss the salmon cubes in the marinade until evenly coated and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  • Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between each piece.
  • Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket gently halfway through, until the edges are caramelized and the salmon is cooked through.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
