Crispy Baked Cauliflower Bites with Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup all -purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs , beaten
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp sal t
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup mayonnais e
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400F (200C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In three separate bowls, set up a breading station: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and panko mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the third.
  • Dredge each cauliflower floret in the flour, dip into the egg, and then coat thoroughly with the seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
  • Arrange the coated cauliflower on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the coating is golden brown and crispy.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and dried parsley to create the garlic sauce.
  • Serve the cauliflower bites hot with the garlic sauce on the side.
