Crispy Parmesan Crusted Fish

Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or halibut)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprik a
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, and chopped parsley.
  • Stir the melted butter into the breadcrumb mixture until evenly moistened.
  • Brush the top of each fillet with lemon juice.
  • Press the Parmesan mixture firmly onto the top of each fillet to create an even crust.
  • Place fillets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and the crust is golden brown.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
