Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Place salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and sear undisturbed for 4 to 5 minutes until a golden crust forms.
Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the salmon is nearly cooked through.
Reduce heat to medium and add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
Cook for 1 minute while continuously spooning the melting garlic butter over the salmon.
Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, then remove from heat immediately.
Serve the salmon with the pan sauce drizzled over the top.
