Garlic Cheesy Breadsticks (High Protein)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup non -fat Greek yogurt
  • 1.25 cups self -rising flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon sal t
  • 1 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the non-fat Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth and no longer sticky.
  • Roll or press the dough into a 10-inch by 6-inch rectangle on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the surface of the dough.
  • Spread the shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese uniformly over the top.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Allow to cool for 2 minutes before slicing into 8 individual breadsticks.
