Ingredients

  • 1 (12-ounce) gluten-free baguette
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic , finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the gluten-free baguette in half lengthwise.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and salt until a smooth paste forms.
  • Spread the compound butter evenly across the cut surface of both baguette halves, ensuring coverage to the edges.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese uniformly over the buttered surface.
  • Place the baguette halves, buttered side up, onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the butter is bubbling and the bread edges achieve a golden-brown color.
  • Optional: Broil on high for 60 to 90 seconds for enhanced caramelization, monitoring closely to prevent scorching.
  • Remove from heat, rest for 2 minutes for the butter to set slightly, then slice into 1.5-inch segments.
