Ingredients

  • 2 cups fine almond flour
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, sea salt, and baking soda.
  • Add the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
  • Stir until a cohesive dough forms.
  • Scoop tablespoons of dough and roll into balls, placing them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Gently flatten each ball with the palm of your hand or a fork to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are just slightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the baking sheet to set.
