Herby Parmesan Garlic Knots

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic , finely minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Divide the pizza dough into 12 equal portions, approximately 1.3 ounces each.
  • Roll each portion into a rope roughly 8 inches long.
  • Tie each rope into a simple knot and tuck the loose ends underneath.
  • Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet, cover with a clean cloth, and let rest for 20 minutes.
  • Bake the knots for 12 to 15 minutes or until they reach a light golden brown color.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, and salt.
  • Remove the knots from the oven and immediately transfer them into the bowl with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Toss the knots until evenly coated, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve warm.
