Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons hone y
  • 1 tablespoon low -sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and grated ginger.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 1 minute without moving them.
  • Flip the shrimp and pour the honey garlic sauce over them.
  • Cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until the sauce reduces to a thick glaze and the shrimp are opaque.
  • Remove from heat immediately and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
