Hot Honey Infused Feta Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 tsp sal t
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 0.25 cup hone y
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar; simmer for 5 minutes to infuse then set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Reduce heat to low and top each chicken breast with crumbled feta cheese.
  • Drizzle half of the hot honey mixture over the chicken and cover the skillet with a lid for 2 minutes until the cheese is softened.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with the remaining hot honey drizzled over the top.
