Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch dressing mix
  • 0.5 cup cooked bacon bits, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 green onions , thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 4 slices tomat o
  • 4 leaves butter lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, dry ranch seasoning, bacon bits, shredded cheddar, green onions, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Gently mix by hand until the ingredients are just incorporated, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties approximately 0.75-inch thick.
  • Preheat a grill or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Spread butter on the cut sides of the buns and toast on the heat source for 30 to 60 seconds until golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing patties on the bottom buns and topping with lettuce, tomato, and the top bun.
