Pizza Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Slice the entire slab of rolls in half horizontally without separating the individual rolls.
  • Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  • Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  • Layer 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by a layer of pepperoni slices, and the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella.
  • Place the top half of the rolls onto the cheese layer.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  • Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
