Ingredients

  • 1 scoop (30g) chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon granulated erythritol
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened applesauce
  • 10 grams dark chocolate (85% cocoa)

Instructions

  • In a small microwave-safe ramekin, combine the protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sweetener.
  • Add the almond milk and applesauce to the dry ingredients and stir until a smooth batter is formed.
  • Gently press the dark chocolate square into the center of the batter until it is fully submerged.
  • Microwave on high for 50 seconds or until the sides are firm but the center remains slightly soft to the touch.
  • Remove from the microwave and let sit for 60 seconds to allow the residual heat to finish the internal cooking process.
