Refreshing Watermelon Beet Juice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
  • 1 medium red beet, peeled and sliced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1/2 organic lemon , peeled
  • 4 fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • Wash all produce thoroughly under cold running water.
  • Peel the beet and ginger, then cut into pieces compatible with your juicer's feed chute.
  • Remove the rind from the watermelon and cut the flesh into large cubes.
  • Alternate feeding the watermelon, beet, ginger, and lemon through the juicer to ensure even mixing.
  • Stir the collected juice to incorporate any settled solids.
  • Pour into glasses over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  • Serve immediately for maximum nutrient retention.
