Spiced Pear Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe pears, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon hone y
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • Place the chopped pears, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg into the jar of a high-speed blender.
  • Add the ice cubes to the mixture.
  • Secure the blender lid firmly and process on the highest speed setting for 45 to 60 seconds until the texture is completely homogenous.
  • Stop the blender and check for consistency; pulse for an additional 10 seconds if necessary.
  • Pour the contents into chilled glasses and serve immediately, optionally garnished with a dusting of cinnamon.
