Spicy Cajun Steak with Parmesan Fettuccine Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 (12 oz) ribeye steaks
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 lb fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tsp sal t
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook fettuccine until al dente.
  • Rub steaks thoroughly with Cajun seasoning on all sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat until shimmering.
  • Sear steaks for 4-5 minutes per side or until desired internal temperature is reached.
  • Transfer steaks to a cutting board and let rest for 5-7 minutes.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 60 seconds.
  • Whisk in heavy cream and simmer for 4 minutes until reduced slightly.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thick.
  • Toss the cooked pasta with the cream sauce until evenly coated.
  • Slice steak against the grain and serve atop the pasta garnished with parsley.
