Spicy Korean Ramen with Grilled Beef and Creamy Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 packages spicy Korean instant ramen
  • 200 grams beef ribeye, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 250 milliliters whole milk
  • 250 milliliters wate r
  • 2 slices processed American cheese
  • 1 tablespoon gochujan g
  • 1 large egg , soft-boiled and halved
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Marinate sliced beef in soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic for 10 minutes.
  • Sear beef in a heavy skillet over high heat until browned and caramelized; remove from heat.
  • Combine milk and water in a saucepan and bring to a light simmer over medium heat.
  • Incorporate the ramen seasoning packets and noodles into the simmering liquid.
  • Cook for 4 minutes, stirring to ensure the noodles are evenly submerged.
  • Add cheese slices and stir until the emulsion is smooth and the sauce thickens.
  • Plate the noodles and pour the remaining creamy sauce over them.
  • Garnish with the grilled beef, soft-boiled egg, green onions, and sesame seeds.
