Ingredients

  • 4 oz low -fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1/2 cup freeze -dried strawberries, crushed into fine powder
  • 1/3 cup superfine almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons crushed graham crackers (optional for coating)

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, honey, and vanilla extract, whisking until the texture is uniform.
  • Gradually add the vanilla protein powder, almond flour, and half of the crushed strawberries to the cream cheese base.
  • Fold the ingredients together with a spatula until a thick, cohesive dough is achieved.
  • Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions, approximately 1 ounce each.
  • Roll each portion between the palms of your hands to create a spherical shape.
  • Roll the exterior of each ball in the remaining strawberry powder or optional graham cracker crumbs for texture.
  • Store in a chilled environment or consume immediately for a quick energy boost.
