In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, light brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Pour the melted butter over the dry ingredients and stir until a crumbly dough forms.
Press approximately two-thirds of the oat mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form an even base.
In a medium bowl, toss the diced strawberries with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch until evenly coated.
Distribute the strawberry mixture in a single layer over the pressed oat base.
Crumble the remaining oat mixture evenly over the strawberry layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before slicing into 12 bars.
